The abotion in Chile, An urgent social issue.

On this time, the topic of the blog is "social Issues".

I chose talk about the abortion, because I think is an urgent issue to deal with in Chile.

In Chile is illegal make all type of abortion. On the Chilean law, is considered a crime. Even the so-called  "therapeutic abortion". I think that is unacceptable, because every year in our country, a lot o women die o go to the jail for do an abortion. But the problem is bigger than that, because also is a problem of social inequality, Everyone knows that the high class can have a safe abortion for their women, They usually fly to other country to do the procedure, or they pay to a friend doctor for do a false "appendectomy" in a safe clinic. The most outrageous of this, is that the same high class is against to legalizing the abortion. That make me think about the real reason for not legalizing the abortion, and i really think is a theme about class domination. The high class, and especially the right-wing politicians don't want a legal abortion in chile, because now been illegal, and that contributes to the social stratification. I mean that contributes to make the poor still poor.

Only for a trivia: the abortion in all their form is illegal only in 3 country at the world: The Vatican, The Salvador, and Chile. 

Ghost in my House!

Hi! To day,I going to talk about ghost!! yes!!, my unusual experience, is about ghost in my house.

I live in a old house in Ñuñoa with my family. This house belong to my family since 50 years ago, and even my great grandfather's mother and brother died in the house.

I think is very normal that the old house have noise. But in my house, one year, it happend that the stuff move alone. For example, everyone in my house could see when a lamp flew without a explication. But this is not the most unusual experience. One day, i was sleeping and i woke to go to the bathroom, when i opened the door of my room, i saw a tall and skinny man in front of me. First, I thought that was my cousin Nicolas, who on that time he lived with us, but in the moment i said "Nico??" the man was disappeared. It was so weird because I didn't feel scare, and I continued with what I was doing.

On next day, I told my family the history, and my brother said, that he seen the same ghost before.  The alleged ghost appeared a couple of time more. But one day disappeared forever.

Santiago, my City!

Santiago of Chile is the capital of the republic of Chile. I was born in this city on 1984, on that time the city was very different than now. Of course, been happened a lot of changes in the city. To day Santiago of Chile is a big metropolis, with a population of aprox 6 million of people. This number of people is a third of the total of population of the entire country. Santiago is a city with a lot of different urban cultures, I think that is typical of the big cities of the world, and i suppose is a consequence  of the globalization, and the new and better forms of communication, like a consequences of the globalization. Santiago like others big city, have problems with the traffic of vehicles on peak hours. this is one of the principal reason  that people of Santiago can have a stressful life.

Santiago, also have a lot of places to visit: like parks, museum, and typical places like "Mercado Central" or "La Vega".  but I think that one of the better places to visit is the San Cristobal hill, because on the top of the hill you can watch the entire city, of course if  that day there good weather, and there isn't a lot of air contamination. On the San Cristobal Hill, also there is the principal zoo of the city, a Japanese garden, and different places to rest, have fun and do barbecues.

The restaurants, bars and clubs, are the center of the Santiago's nightlife, And there are places on the city where you can find a lot of them. Some of these places are "Barrio Bellavista", "Barrio Brasil", "Barrio Suecia", "Plaza Ñuñoa" and "Barrio Manuel Montt". But i think is so much funny go to a house party with friends, And also is cheaper.
